”Hunter Richardson joins Portman Holdings as the company’s Executive Vice President of Development. In this role, Richardson will oversee development and construction of all Portman Holdings projects in the United States.

Richardson has over 30 years of experience working on multiple real estate types, including town centers, sports and entertainment venues, museums and resorts. He previously worked with OliverMcMillan, where he was the Managing Director of Development for Buckhead Atlanta, and earlier served as Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Richardson Development Group, where he specialized in large-scale, mixed-use projects such as Pemberton Park which includes the Georgia Aquarium, and the new World of Coca-Cola. Richardson was also Vice President of Development for Turner Sports & Entertainment and worked on Philips Arena and CNN Center Renovations, President of Redland Properties, and Senior Development Manager for Himmel/Miller Klutznick Davis Grey in the development of Reston Town Center. Richardson earned both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Portman Holdings currently has 1.4 million square feet of development underway in the US, and a significant pipeline of real estate opportunities around the country. Richardson joins a team focused on executing distinctive mixed-use and single-use real estate developments in growing urban cores.
