Carey OwensVice President, Asset Management

    Carey provides asset management, operating analysis, project management, and owner’s representation for the company’s real estate portfolio. Carey also oversees property management for both in-house and third-party managed properties. Since joining Portman Holdings in 2007, Carey has been involved in multiple facets of the company’s activities, including acquisitions and dispositions, financial structuring, due diligence, underwriting, and project feasibility analysis for both domestic and international developments.

    Before joining Portman Holdings, Carey was an intern/analyst at ACG Professionals, Inc., where he analyzed and modeled multiple office and retail portfolios. Before receiving his MBA, Carey was the director of product management for Firstdoor, Inc., a technology start-up, overseeing design, development and marketing of the company’s product offerings. Carey has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University, and an MBA with a concentration in real estate and leadership from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
