Vice President, Asset Management
Carey provides asset management, operating analysis, project management, and owner’s representation for the company’s real estate portfolio; as well as financial structuring, due diligence, underwriting, and project feasibility analysis for international and domestic developments and acquisitions. Before joining Portman Holdings, Carey interned at ACG Professionals, Inc. where he analyzed and modeled multiple office and retail portfolios valued in excess of $30 billion, performed discrepancy analysis, reviewed leases, and validated financial data. Before receiving his MBA, Carey was the director of product management for Firstdoor, Inc., a technology start-up, overseeing design, development and marketing of the company’s product offerings. Carey has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University, and an MBA with a concentration in real estate and leadership from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson and a member of ULI’s Young Leaders Group.
