230 Peachtree is a 414,000 square foot adaptive reuse project. The building was first developed by Portman Holdings and designed by John Portman & Associates in 1965 as an office building. In April of 2014, Portman purchased the building in Downtown Atlanta, now owning the asset for the second time. The building, which opened in December of 2015, is comprised of approximately 290,000 square feet of office space atop a 206-room Hotel Indigo. It is just above the Peachtree Center MARTA station, fronting the main Peachtree Street corridor in Downtown Atlanta, and in close proximity to the new Atlanta Streetcar route as well as many downtown attractions.
