Portman Holdings has secured another lease in its Union Tower West building, opening in December of this year. Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar and Scott LLP will lease 25,181 square feet of office space in the mixed-use building that will include a 180-key Hotel Indigo® hotel in addition to its 100,000 square feet of office space.
With a projected move in date of Fall 2017, Bartlit Beck will occupy the 12th floor of Union Tower West, offering spectacular views of Union Station, Downtown Denver, the mountains and Coors Field.
“We look forward to reinforcing our culture of excellence, teamwork, and quality with our new Denver office. The size, location, and flexibility of the building will improve the way we work together to deliver high quality representation to our clients,” said Bartlit Beck managing partner, Skip Herman.
Travis Garland, Portman Holdings’ director of leasing, along with Jonathan Jones and Robert Whittelsey of Colliers International represented Portman Holdings in the transaction. Lindsay Brown, Patrick Bolick and Tim Bourdelais of Jones Lang LaSalle negotiated on behalf of Bartlit Beck.
“We are very happy to have Bartlit Beck as a part of Union Tower West. As we approach the completion date of the project, we feel honored to have been chosen as the new office location of such a prestigious law firm. After this transaction, the building is 63% leased with only one full floor and one partial floor remaining. The addition of this tenant continues to set the tone for Union Tower West as the premier address in Downtown Denver,” said Garland.
Located in the up and coming LoDo neighborhood and surrounded by historic landmarks such as newly redeveloped Union Station, Union Tower West marks Portman’s first venture in Denver. The building will contain 100,000 square feet of office space, a 180-room Hotel Indigo® hotel, and 10,000 square feet of space for restaurant and retail use. Its first confirmed tenant is law firm Husch Blackwell.
