Darcey Simasek

Darcy joined Portman in 2022 as Vice President of Development. Prior to working at Portman, Darcy was a Director at Hines, where she was responsible for sourcing, capitalizing, and executing institutional-scale developments throughout the Southeast. Darcy’s development experience includes multiple asset classes, with a particular focus in creative office and large-scale mixed-use projects.

Prior to this position, Darcy worked in capital markets roles at both Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) and Barclays Capital. Darcy holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Darcy is active in NAIOP and was a NAIOP Future Leader in 2020-2021.
