Jessica Freese
Jessica currently oversees the industrial development of the Southeast Region (North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee) for Portman Industrial. In this role, Jessica is responsible for managing all facets of development for the region including land acquisition, entitlements, financings, construction, leasing, and dispositions.
Jessica started with Portman Industrial as the Development Construction Manager for the Southeast Region where she was responsible for managing the construction operations for Industrial Development projects in this region. She managed the general contractors, design engineers, and consultants to ensure the construction of the industrial sites ran smoothly to be completed on time and under budget.
Prior to joining Portman, Jessica served as a Project Executive for Kajima Building & Design Group where she both directly managed projects and managed a team of Project Engineers and Project Managers through the construction of over 25 Industrial Development projects and tenant fit-outs. Before working as a General Contractor, Jessica was with Walmart on the eCommerce team as one of the members who designed and built Walmart’s brand new eCommerce fulfillment centers and network.
Through her tenure, Jessica has either directly or indirectly managed the construction of over 14.5M SF of industrial construction, along with other tenant fit-out projects in those facilities.
