Joshua Gately

Joshua Gately joined Portman Holdings in March of 2014. As Senior Vice President of Development, he is responsible for overseeing the entire development process. His work includes sourcing new development opportunities, design, construction oversight and financing activities. His development experience extends to multiple asset classes, including Office, Hospitality and Multi-family ground up development. He has specifically played a key role in some of Portman’s most recent signature projects, including Coda at Tech Square and Spring Quarter in Atlanta. As a developer, Joshua has successfully completed over $1.3 Billion of new urban high-rise projects, including over 1.5 million SF of office, 375 apartments and 1,400 hotel keys.

Prior to joining Portman, Joshua was an associate at Rialto Capital. He holds a Masters in Real Estate from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Georgia. Joshua is involved with the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP. He is active in the community and serves on the board of the Midtown Alliance.
