Mike Greene

Mike Greene joined Portman Holdings as Senior Vice President of Development, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous role at Mill Creek Residential Trust. At Mill Creek, Mike oversaw the development process, including entitlements and design, while also sourcing new development opportunities in the Southeast region. Prior to his tenure at Mill Creek, Mike worked at Novare Group, where he focused on executing high-rise, mixed-use developments across the Southeast.

Before his time at Novare, Mike initially joined Portman Holdings as a Development Manager, specializing in underwriting and analysis of hotel and office mixed-use developments nationwide. His real estate career began as a Realtor® and sales broker, followed by roles as a Project Manager and Superintendent with Turner Construction Company, where he managed large-scale institutional projects.

Throughout his career, Mike has successfully developed over 1900 residential homes in the Southeast and Texas, totaling approximately $490 million in development costs. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Georgia, a Master of Science in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Emory University. Mike is also a LEED® Accredited Professional and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), further enhancing his expertise in the field of real estate development and finance.
