Jeff Greenway
Jeff is responsible for the oversight of all legal matters related to and impacting the Company, including managing internal and external legal resources, corporate legal work, project and deal related legal work, and compliance.
Prior to joining Portman Holdings, Jeff was Partner in the Atlanta office of Troutman Sanders where he focused his practice on the investment and financing of commercial real estate, including office, industrial, retail, restaurant, hotel, and other income producing properties. He routinely represented developers and borrowers in closing construction loans, syndicated and mezzanine facilities, tax credit transactions (including affordable housing, historic tax credits and new markets tax credits), permanent financings made by life companies, and CMBS loans. Jeff has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate law, including corporate real estate services, equity investments, acquisitions and dispositions, sale-leaseback transactions, restructurings and workouts, and ground, office, retail, and industrial leasing.
Jeff is a graduate of Lee University and University of Georgia School of Law. He is an executive committee member of the State Bar of Georgia, Real Property Law Section.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys travel, reading, and running. Jeff resides in Marietta with his wife, Kerri. He has three children – Stephen (24), an infantry officer in the US Army, Katie (20), a sophomore at UGA, and Will (14), a high school freshman.
