Suraj Amarnani

Suraj assumes the pivotal role of Chief Accounting Officer at Portman Holdings, where he oversees the firm’s accounting, tax, financial reporting, and treasury management functions. As a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Suraj brings a wealth of expertise to his position.

Before joining Portman, Suraj held the position of Audit Senior Manager at KPMG LLP, where he led audits for private companies across various industries, including real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, not-for-profit, and alternative investments. His diverse experience and comprehensive knowledge of financial management make him a valuable asset to the Portman team.

Suraj is an alumnus of the University of Georgia, where he earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accountancy. Beyond his professional commitments, he actively engages in community service, serving as Treasurer for the Odyssey Family Counseling Center and as a Board Member of the Ascend Southeast Hub. His dedication to both his profession and his community exemplifies his commitment to excellence in all aspects of his life.
