About the Kimpton

The Kimpton Hotel site was designed in 1950 by well-known Atlanta architect James C. White as residential housing for seniors. In 2000, it was converted into condominiums by architect Hiro Isogai and Niles Bolton Interior Design. Located in the heart of Atlanta’s Buckhead community, the hotel is blocks from high-end shopping, restaurants, and entertainment venues, as well as a MARTA station.

The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel is a 216-key boutique hotel in the heart of Atlanta’s premiere Buckhead neighborhood. The adaptive reuse project project features three premiere food and beverages outlets including a 1950’s inpired supper club, outdoor garden lounge and rooftop bar with sweeping Buckhead views. The interior showcases a midcentury-modern design with vintage furnishings, robust foliage, and contemporary art. The exterior of the property features an outdoor pool with airy rattan furnishings and sleek wood patio.
